Capital Singers of Trenton (CST) invites singers and music enthusiasts in the capital region to join in a Summer Sing on Sunday, August 25th at 5 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608. The event is free and will include a “home made” ice cream social.
The Sing will be led by CST’s Artistic Director and Conductor Vinroy D. Brown, Jr. and Zachary Ross, accompanist. Previewing CST’s upcoming season, selections will include Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” accompanied by strings; additional pieces will include the “Hallelujah Chorus,” “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” and “Amid the Winter’s Snow.” Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us for an evening of music and ice cream. All music will be provided.
The eighty-member chorus serves as the choral voice of the capital region, performing a repertoire of both sacred and secular music throughout the capital region. The chorus strives to promote the art of choral singing, enrich the cultural life of New Jersey, and act as ambassadors for the City of Trenton through concerts, special performances, and community outreach.
